The battery pack can be cooled and also heated via a fluid based thermal management. It consists of 3 modules each with 32 cells and thus has a total of 96 cells. Completely discharged it has a total voltage of about 320 V, fully charged it is at a total voltage of about 400 V. Although the key data is very similar to the E18-1 battery of the ED3, the E18-2 is a clearly further developed version. 3 more cells are installed and also the thermal management has been updated.
Incidentally, the built-in BMS is the same as the first Mercedes EQA, EQB, EQC, EQE and EQS generation.
